This Christmas season, some beauty brands forming the Beauty Zone at 1st Avenue are getting together to offer you a treat with products and services. Each brand will have their consultants at hand to advise and answer questions.

In conjuction with the launch of The Season to Dazzle, I was invited to a Bloggers Workshop at SUB International School of Beauty & Make Up. The outlet is not offers over 20 professional courses but also sells tools and kits from the SUB brand at the front of the shop. I really like the interior of the shop, it looks like New York industrial loft with a metropolitan twist. It has been the rage since last year here in KL. High glass door at the entrance, high stools and long make up table with Hollywood-style mirror with lights made it look as though you're stepping into a different environment.

What's green, looks hive-like and makes you feel like you're walking in a not so dense forest? Well it's the brand new Central Park!

After 6 months of planning, the structure decked in green right smack on the 3rd Floor of Berjaya Times Square is now opened. With a strong nuance to the famous landmark in New York, it sits on more than 5,000 square feet which contains 40 retail lots in a prime area surrounded by establised retail outlets that serves a diverse demographic of shopper. It really is an intriguing new way to shop. A different shop at every turn, it feels like a mini exploration quest.

What is even more eye catching is the bird's eye view of the green structure when seen from the higher floors. The ceiling is made from transparent polycarbonate with warm lights of the mall spilling into it giving it a forestry feel replicating how sunlight shines through the leaves in a forest.

The Lunar New Year is but a few days away and if you're in KL for the break drob by Berjaya Times Square and check out the Malaysia's Blossom Tree Replica. It's 50.46 feet tall, spans 20.6 and holds 398,998 exquisite blooming blossoms!! Ginormous that is!

What is Christmas at Berjaya Times Square without a Mascot Parade especially since they just introduced Ooops the lovable she-bot. The Mascot Parade will be from November 2011 until February 2012 in conjunction with the festive season. It will be held during the weekends and public holidays. A brass band playing euphoric upbeat Samba music will be leading the energetic pack around the mall.

The parade will kick-off from Berjaya Times Square Theme Park’s main entrance on the 5th floor til the main entrance at Ground Floor. You are more then welcome to join in the parade. The more the merrier!

These irresistible mascots include Ooops, the newly launched mascot, Professor Cosmo and Oorts from Berjaya Times Square Theme Park, and others such as Chicky from KFC, Bar B Gon from Bar B Q Plaza, Barci from Nando’s, The Toto Bird from Sport’s Toto, Chipmunk from Marrybrown, Mr.Slice from Papa John’s and many more.

At the end of the parade and dance, you get to take photos with the mascots and it's not just for the kids!

There's loads of things happenning This Christmas @ Berjaya Times Square (BTS), from carolling, Santa and Mascot Parade, acrobat performance, face painting, live band and to top it all off the nationwide Malaysia Year End Sale from 15/11/11 to 1/01/12! Shopping!!

To get you in the mood, BTS has a 40 feet Christmas tree waiting to greet you at the main entrance decorated with larger-than-life-sized characters from The Berjaya Times Square Theme Park - Professor Cosmo, Oorts, Christmas faves Santa Claus, Gingerbread Man, Rudolpf the Reindeer and the latest addition to this cosmic family, Ooops the lovable She-bot who will give a feminine touch to Christmas at BTS.

These characters will also be putting up a show which will be great for the kids. It starts with the characters converge in a giant living room to decorate the tree. Tradition has it that the head of the family crowns the Christmas tree its star, but Ooops is adamant and tries her luck at fixing it upright, as she puts it. To distract her, Professor Cosmo entrusts her with swirling the tinsels and Christmas lights around the tree while Ginger Breadman is euphoric and dazzled by the trimmings. Unbeknownst to anyone, Rudolph sulks in a corner because Santa Claus had cut short his sleighing hours to spend more time catching up with the Theme Park stars. Amidst the excitement, Oorts plans a Christmas party with a check list that will rival Cold Storage’s inventory!
