I'm really not one for heels. More often than not I will only wear them if I have to. Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate a gorgeous pair of heels but wearing them is another story all together. Which is why I always opt for flats, they are loads more comfy and I don't have to fear tripping to my death. Ridiculous I know.
One of my all time faves is a pair of Converse which I swear looks good with almost anything. I got these pair of Sparkle Nightshade early last month as a belated birthday present and am still completely adoring it. Lurv the colour. Lurv how the sequins sparkle when light bounces off it even more. I kept my outfit simple to focus on my shiny new kicks. The shoes were a definite head turner. Looks fabulous in action! Oh and featuring my new hair colour in Ash. :)

*smiles* Hey, that's where it went. I was looking for stuff in my store room when I stumbled upon one of my fave jumpers. I used to wear this with everything during uni days in UK because it has such a classic look with a hint of character. Can't really walk around much with it here, the 34°C temprature is a killer. *roasting*
So after the walk the navy jumper went back into the wardrobe filled with warm clothes until I decide to go on a nippy Spring trip. Could there be a trip in the air.. *wonders*

Sorry for going on silent mode for the past week or so. One of my cats have been really sick and I can't seem to focus on blogging. His blood test result comes out tomorrow and fingers crossed it's encouraging news. *prays hard*
My day got a bit brighter when I received these Sparkle Nightshade Converse as a long awaited very belated birthday present this morning, one of many, from darr-ling brother. *smiles* I really wanted these ones, the purple sequins are just fab but since the Malaysian stores don't carry it, he brought it back from Melbourne. Completely adore them! Thanks x infinity you!! *big huge hugzz*
Last month I had the sudden urge to get myself another pair. This time the Chuck Taylor All Star low tops. As I embarked on my hunt I realised that it was rather difficult to find my size. Forget about looking for it at the Converse stand alone stores because they were out of the smaller sizes and only the larger sizes were on display.

Me: As I went to the shop assistant with the shoe I wanted, " Do you have this in...". Didn't even get to finish my question.
SA: "Oh finish already."
Me: Picked up another colour. "....." Didn't even get to ask.
SA: "Also finish."
Me: What was at the tip of my tongue, "Kalau size semua dah habis you bukak kedai buat apa? Jual badan ke?"
No I didn't say it. Wish I did cause it was getting annoying. Then it dawned on me.. it's school holidays that's why a lot of the sizes are gone. Its gotta be those kids! Converse is popular amongst teens & young adults and here I am trying to recapture my youth during school holidays. What was I thinking.
Just as I decided to wait for new stock to come in I came across Three Point Six at OU on Saturday. Maybe it was meant to be, they had my size! Just not in the colour I wanted. Was really hoping to get them in grey but settled for navy instead for RM99.90. Yay!
They're definitely not as comfortable as trainers or my previous cushiony kind but they look so freaking good with jeans! It's great if you're going for the urban look. Plus you can pair it with almost anything. But be warned it's not suitable if you're planning to do a lot of walking (due to the non-cushioned rubber soles) only if you're planning on looking good. Lol!
