Nars never disappoints when it comes to their Holiday collection. This year Nars has collaborated with Sarah Moon, the iconic French photographer, for a 22 piece collection. It is inspired by the 1927 science fiction film Metropolis. The collection hit stores a little over 2 weeks ago so drop by and check it out.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick comes in four new shades for Summer 2016 which compliments the Beach Nudes Collection beautifully - Truffle, Nude Beach, Stone and Malted Pink. If you are not already familiar with this cream shadow stick, it's a swipe and go cream eye shadow that's designed to be fuss-free.

Have you guys been to the NARS KLCC Boutique yet? It's spacious and modern featuring sharp lines with luxuriously sleek design everything that Francois Nars and Fabien Baron, of New York design firm Baron & Baron wanted in a flagship store. Apart from the luxurious marble that surrounds the entry door and display windows, the stand out feature has to be six tv display at the back of the store which runs all things Nars, as well as the led display that adds character to the space. The boutique also has an eclectic mix of objects that have inspired Nars over the years (including films, books, and photographs), to be available for purchase and rotated quarterly.

Had I received this product earlier, reviewing it would have been a challenge. 10 weeks on after the butchery of my brows, I'm finally comfortable with taking close up photos of them. They are still  recovering from that traumatic experience and still a tad sparse at some parts but it's starting to look like how they were before the incident.

 

I picked up the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Anti-Aging and Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray about a month back been using themsince. I decided to try the Urban Decay Primer Potion Anti-Aging after my Urban Decay Primer Potion in Orignal was nearly running out. The Original formula has been a staple in my makeup routine for a while now and I swear by it, eyeshadow stays put on my oily lids for 12 hours straight, no creasing.

If you guys don't already know, which I'm sure a lot of you already do, Urban Decay Holiday 2014 Collection is already available at Sephora outlets. The highlight of the Holiday collection is of course the Vice 3 palette with 20 Never-Before-Seen shades - from an amazing soft black and a stunning burgundy to a rich, smoky red-black. Designed for you to experiment, the it ranges from matte, satin, sparkle and metallic finishes with velvety texture, rich colour, serious staying power and blendability. The eye catching case is just super cool, it features a hypnotic new artwork in an abstract stripe design, embellished with a bright neon-green jeweled "Vice" icon to match the highly metallised green base, and it comes with a coordinating bag.

Yes it's named after the drink and it looks glamorous! Bobbi Brown Scotch on the Rocks  Collection features a warm, glowing skin with rich sultry eyes and statement lips. The collection is inspired by the late Lauren Bacall who was known for her sultry looks and distinctive voice but also for being a great actress with a career spanning from the 40’s through to the 90’s. Scotch On The Rocks Collection is fronted by Kate Upton.

The Shupette Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld is already available in stores as I'm writing this review. But if you haven't see it yet or are still comtemplating, read on. As I mentioned in my preview post (read here), this must be one of my fave makeup collections so far. You can't deny it, it's just fabulous in every way.

I caved as I was curious and now I get it. I suppose it was timely since one of my friends was coming back for a break and I got her to get the Hourglass Ambient Light Blush for me from Space NK. I really wanted to get more than just the one but I wasn't sure how glowy would turn out on oily cheeks. So I opted for Radient Magenta, described as golden fuschia. I swear the swirl in the blush is hypnotic.

Don't tell me you haven't been waiting for this! Well your wait will be coming to an end real soon as the Shupette Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld 2014 Holiday Collection will be available in Malaysia starting early November. I can't remember the last time I have been so excited about an entire collection. It must be the whole cat thing, what else can it be?

Bobbi Brown Holiday Collection 2014 is a rather large one. Some of the palettes are already available in stores while the rest are expected to get in soon. The eye palettes and highlight powders come in gorgeous tortoise shell compacts reminiscent of the Tortoise Shell palettes of 2011. Personally I prefer when Bobbi Brown comes up with these tortoise shell ones because the packaging looks loads more exciting. I'm looking forward to the Highlight Powders because they look amazing. While waiting for the rest of the collection to come in, I thought I'd swatch these ones first.

Just when you thought nudes couldn't get more exciting, Bobbi Brown does Smokey Nudes. Smokey Nudes Eye Palette is a versatile palette that gives you the smokey eye look for both day and night. All you need to do is layer the shadows for desired intensity.

I was browsing around and found the Zeova blush about the same time I got the Zoeva Eye Primer. I couldn't resist the shade. Zoeva Luxe Color Blush in Rush Rush is described as "Few Minutes of Joy" which could have various meanings. I leave it up to you for the more exciting one.

It has been a while since I've been this excited about foundation, more so a Clinique one. I always found Clinique foundations a bit too pink for my shade, so I was really surprised when I found a good match with the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Liquid Makeup.

They are in stores! I sneak previewed the Bobbi Brown Sheer Brights Eye Shadows in June during Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2014 backstage but couldn't swatch them. They have been swatched now. The Sheer Brights Eye Shadows collection is "A  modern take on colour - sheer washes on the eye" - Bobbi Brown.

You can never have enough lipsticks. I was so excited when I got a sneak preview of the new blushes during Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2014 in June. Unfortunately I couldn't swatch it back then but the new shades for Bobbi Brown Fall 2014 are out at the counters now.

I don't usually talk about matte lipsticks simply because I prefer something hydrating as my lips can get quite dry. Hence the tons of lip balms I always have around. But the all new Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick have such gorgeous colours that I didn't hesitate to give it a go when one arrived for me.

The head turning I want to line my eyes that way too kind. I suppose I could but stares would be inevitable. The Hafflins and Innai Red shows saw classic looks, with Hafflins going for bold red lip with clean lined eyes and Innai Red opted for a very fresh minimal look. Rizaman Ruzaini and Jonathan Liang also didn't stray too much from a minimalist look. While Rizman Ruzaini's look was almost nude, Jonathan Liang's appeared more luminous.
