It's about time! I have been waiting for Bobbi Brown to come out with a retractable gel liner, especially since I love the Long Wear Gel Eyeliner ie the one in the pot. The new Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner is part of Bobbi's Perfectly Defined Collection for stand out eyes. I actually previewed this at the Bobbi Brown Spring Summer 2014 Makeup School with Kai Vinson but unfortunately didn't get to try it out (read here).

20 artists, one Little Black Bottle and an art exhibition that left me fascinated. I attended the Lancôme Little Black Bottle Exhibition a little while back and it was to celebrate and introduce the new Lancôme Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate. Maison Lancôme collaborated with 20 artists from around the world to see how they would perceive or describe the iconic black bottle. The illustrations they came up with were both beautiful and intriguing.

Working together with their corporate partners, Estee Lauder Companies has opted to focus on a more specific issue for Earth Month 2014. The use of polystyrene has always been a huge problem. The amount of polystyrene cups produced in one day is enough to circle the earth if lined up end-to-end, via an article found on the United States Environmental Protection Agency Website. Here's another one, Americans throw away 25,000,000,000 polystyrene cups each year and that the cups used today will still be sitting in a landfill 500 years from now. That is if it isn't blown away to pollute our oceans because if it's lightweight nature. That just adds to the damage that we have already done to the environment.

 The not so new Bobbi Brown Art Stick is a lipstick meet liner chubby pencil. Having a throw back moment because these really remind me of colour pencils, chubby ones that can be used for endless colouring. I say not so new, because the Art Stick is actually a reintroduction. I mentioned in my Sneak Peak post here that Bobbi Brown came up with it about 15 years ago with the idea of having bright punchy colours and you're suppose to have fun with it. I haven't exactly had the best track record with CC Creams as I never really found any use for it. Colour correcting has never really been a concern because I'm just yellow all over, so it seems wrong to correct anything about it. A new coffee place right smack in the middle of KL! Rejoice! Somewhere I can hang out and this time I don't have to bring a book along. The Library Coffee Bar @ Avenue K has a wonderfully relaxed set up about it while being photogenic at the same time. It has great attention to detail. They have an upstairs too but I didn't wander about.
The Body Shop Nutriganics™ Drops Of Youth promises a difference in just 5 days and I took them up on it. I started using this last Saturday, which was after the recent treatment lotion just in case you guys are wondering. Yeah, I've been lagging behind a tad with posting up my reviews due to various reasons so there's loads of catching up to do.
I was suppose to put up this review last week but I realised my after photos weren't where they were suppose to be and I had already deleted them from my camera. After much panic I found them! I accidentally saved them to the wrong folder. *phewh* It must have been the weather or quite possibly trying to decide online purchases at the same time.. or both.

But yes, it's the season for treatment lotions. If you have read my thoughts on the Estee Lauder Micro Essence some time in January, you know I wasn't too keen on it for a particular reason. You can read the review here. This latest one from Clinique was introduced last month to complete the Even Better range, the Clinique Even Better Essence Lotion. It's meant to improve overall clarity and luminosity of the skin with brightening effects. 'Brightening', now there's a word I'm never sure about. But it's from Clinique so I hope it's not going to mean what I think it means.

The Body Shop Malaysia turns 30 and they wanted to celebrate International Women's Day a little differently from previous years. With the tag line 'Be More Than Beautiful' The Body Shop seek to redefine what society considers as beautiful and to encourage people to celebrate women with substance who are made up of qualities worth pursuing. They looked to Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Dato' Ambiga Sreenavasan, Ivy Josiah and Zainah Anwar. These women have made an impact and fought for gender equality, fairness and the empowerment of women and it was very insightful to hear them share their opinions on certain subjects at the media launch earlier. I feel I should mention that Datin Mina Cheah-Foong, Founder and Managing Director of The Body Shop Malaysia is an amazing woman herself. I mean The Body Shop has been in Malaysia for the past 30 years after all and they have managed to raise awareness and make a difference with various campaigns and causes over that period of time.
