Bobbi Brown Skin Nourishing Glow Foundation
If glow is what you are looking for then, this latest Asia exclusive Bobbi Brown Nourishing Glow Foundation might just be the one. It is formulated to give you that nourishing moisture and luminous coverage for an ultra-polished, lit-from-within look.
It contains a radiance and moisture-reviving extract which helps pull moisture to skin and lock it in, hindering skin-dehydration due to cold environmental factors. The result is instant and long-term hydration even after the foundation is removed. A potent, collagen-enhancing ferment from the Antartic Sea helps to further soothe the skin, while . Hexapeptide Technology supports the stimulation of natural collagen production. As a result fine lines and wrinkles is visibly firmer and appear lifted. A combination of star-shaped and spherical powders reflect light to blur imperfections, instantly giving skin a luminous glow. The moisture-reviving extract also plumps skin for a radiant healthy, lit-from-within glow.
This latest foundation is actually designed for dry to normal skin types. Even so, I was excited to give it a whirl since I'm no longer going for that completely matte look especially since I discovered a slightly dewy look is more forgiving when it comes to fine lines and pores.
I wear shade Natural which is currently the darkest shade for this new foundation. It's a good match, a tad lighter but I don't mind because it makes my complexion looks slightly brighter. The texture is a richly emollient yet lightweight hybrid cream that is really easy to blend. I apply it using my fingertips and then use a buffing brush to get an even finish. The coverage is light to almost medium, so I still use a concealer to cover up any scars or uneveness. It feels comfortable, gives a soft finish and well, looks radiant. I find that by using a base that is a bit more mattifying, it helps to looks less shiny on the t-zone area because I like how it looks on the whole. I set it with some powder because well, I have combination-oily skin.
I really like how it wears through out the day, although my nose requires touching up ever so often as it usually does. It is good one to have on when I'm spending the entire day in the office or air-cond spaces, but not so much when I'm running around. Even after removing the foundation, my skin still feels comfortable. If you have really oily skin it's best you avoid this but if you have combination skin and want to go for a glowy finish then this foundation is a must try.
This photo was taken after eight and a half hours of wear with a bit of touch up of course.
The foundation is packaged in a new easy-to-use airless pump that helps ingredients stay fresh and active, maximizing the formula's performance. The pump is easy to control so that you don't end up with any excess product. The bottle is black, looks sleek, my only concern is I won't know when it's about to finish.
Bobbi Brown Skin Nourishing Glow Foundation retails for RM205 and is available at all Bobbi Brown stores and counters. It is available in 9 shades - Porcelain, Warm Porcelain, Warm Ivory, Sand, Cool Sand, Warm, Beige, Warm Beige and Natural.
