The Body Shop teamed up with Uber about two weekends ago to give their fans an awesome spa-on-the-go experience in conjunction with their latest launch, Spa Of The World range. I wish all my uber ride would include luxurious pamper products and a masseuse. The arm and neck massage was just what I needed on my birthday weekend. I'm still celebrating that birthday by the way with some of the new spa products from The Body Shop. September hasn't ended yet!

I first came across the I Love... products a while back in Superdrug n a trip to the UK. I'm excited that they are now available here because the products smell so yummy! A little bit of a background, I Love Cosmetics Ltd originated from its founder's personal passion for fabulous smelling, fun fragrances. In 2008, James Brown created an exciting new bath, body and beauty brand to set the international market alight.

A virgin mojito to quench that summer thirst? Oh yes please! The Body Shop has brought this Carribean favourite in stores just for you. Before you get all excited, the limited edition Virgin Mojito body range is a summer body cocktail which is skin-quenchingly refreshing to help you to stay cool all summer long. It has been created to smell like the real deal to get you through those hot steamy summer days.

If you're diligent with body care then a body serum will most likely be a welcome addition especially if it smells this amazing. I'm talking about L'Occitane's first ever body serum, the Almond Velvet Serum meant not only for added hydration but also to help reverse signs of ageing due to sun damage.

Kiehl's Vetiver & Black Tea range is all new over here and it's a rather different type of scent. It's the Vetiver that hits me first before my nose started noticing the Black Tea. I could be wrong but I don't think I'v seen black tea being used in a fragrance or scent before.

How cute are these illustrations?! This was me when I first saw the tubes, "So cute!!". Exact words printed on the metal box by the way. Try saying something else the second you set your eyes on them, it won't happen, believe me. L'Occitane collaborated with ELLE Magazine who chose a well-known French illustrator Soledad Bravi to bring you these limited edition hand cream packaging. The hand creams themselves are four of L'Occitane's bestselling scents.

I kept reminding myself that I have to say something about the still new The Body Shop Body Sorbet which I first purchased a few months back. But once it found its place in the fridge I never got around to taking a photo of it. Don't get me wrong, not that I don't like it, I love it. I repurchased the Satsuma Body Sorbet during the Lisa Surihani Meet & Greet and made sure I took a photo of it first before the fridge got a hold of it.

"Liquid Gold" as Argan Oil is referred to has been used for centuries by the Berber women of Morocco in their beauty routines either on hair or skin and has also other amazing uses. It is traditionally used to moisturise skin giving it a youthful glow and smoothed onto hair to condition as well as calm frizz. The Body Shop will officially launch the complete Wild Argan Oil range in stores in September but you can already find some of the products in store as well as The Body Shop Malaysia online store.

Body scrubs is something I don't seem talk so much about and I'm not really sure why. I tried a few throughout 2013 but there wasn't one that really stood out until I got this one. Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Exfoliating Body Scrub came highly recommended, so I got my hands on a tube during the Crabtree & Evelyn Secret Garden Launch at Pavilion late last year (read here).

It's not in stores just yet but you'll be able to get The Body Shop Honeymania range starting September! It's NEW and it's gorgeously yummy! I'm completely in LOVE with it! ♥

Latest from Enchanteur Paris - Deo Body Mist. It comes in pretty candy colour packaging which I think would look nice on nails too. Have the sudden urge to colour my nails in pinks and purple to take photo with the body mists but that would mean delaying this post. Hence I will continue sans nail colour.

The latest collaboration of Johnson's Body Care and fashion designer Nurita Harith brings to you a limited edition collection called 'Gaya Ayu'. With the theme 'Serlahkan Keayuanmu' the collection featured 12 designer pieces featuring satin, chiffon and caressing fabrics that flowed as soft and gently as the name. The collection was modelled by celebrities, Neelofa Mohd Noor, Megan Tan and Almy Nadia.

Christmas comes early at The Body Shop. In fact it comes early every year the minute the Christmas range comes out. That's when I start shopping. *sings Jingle Bells*

In the spirit of Giving Joy, The Body Shop donated funds to their NGO partners at a cosy Christmas party for media and fans. These NGOs are constantly striving to make a difference in today's society. It is these organisations that are constantly putting themselves out there for the benefit of others, be it women's issues, children's rights and those sex worker, the migrant worker or the falsely accused.

The Woman Aids Organisation and Sisters In Islam received RM12,960 and RM12,830 respectively made possible through the sales generated from the Candles of Conscience. Tenaganita, PS the Children and Nur Salam (NGO partner working to Stop Child Sex Trafficking in Malaysia) each received RM12,524 through the sales of the Soft Hands, Kind Heart hand creams. A furthers RM11,205 was given to PT Foundation through the sales of condoms. Presenting the cheques was Datin Mina Cheah-Foong, MD of The Body Shop Malaysia.

These items make great Christmas gifts but you will also find The Body Shop famous scents of Christmas already in store. Cranberry Joy, my all time fave coz it smells oh so yummy, Candied Ginger and Spiced Vanilla range are ready to be bought as single items or gift sets. The gift sets are always so worth it though! Be sure to check out the new Limited Edition Smoke & Sparkle make up range too. Perfect to get you glammed up this season. So start shopping and start giving back! ^^

Almost forgot, you can also send fun and crazy Christmas greeting too through The Body Shop Malaysia page here. Just take a photo of yourself and add on bits! I had fun doing this!

The feeling of dry rough hands just annoy me to bits! It's like I have a pieces of sand paper attched to my arms. Oddly enough I do experience it quite often from being in a freezing air-cond room at the office, doing chores and washing my hands often.

Since I'm not into oily or heavily scented hand creams, I always stick to my usual few favourites that has a calming scent and ones that are rich but absorbs well. One of my faves is The Body Shop Almond Oil Hand Rescue Treatment. Come on, isn't it obvious.. it's the ALMOND! *think yummy MARZIPAN!*

This delicious smelling hand treatment is made from Sweet Almond Oil & Organic Soy Oil that provides essential fatty acids that help to repair the moisture barrier of the skin, thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness. Shea Butter to moisturise and helps soften the skin. Get this, Shea Butter from Ghana, is one of nature's great moisturizers and Ghanaian women have used it for centuries to protect their skin from the dry Saharan winds.

Lets go back to the smell.. not only is it yummilicious, it's calming too! I like to use it at night before bed coz it makes me think of yummy thoughts *sweet almond pudding, almond biscuits.. sigh*. I scoop out a small amount and just smooth it over my hands and nails. The rich cream absorbs really fast and the pot lasts a while coz you don't have to use much. You can use those overnight gloves for better results but I personally don't fancy them. Even without the gloves, by the time I get up in the morning my hands feel soo soo soft and smooth! Almost baby soft. I said "almost" okie *lol*. And yes it still smells yummy!

Best part about this hand treatment is that since it's from The Body Shop, there's no animal testing invloved. As for the Shea Butter used, it is bought from Tungteiya Shea Butter Association, Northern Ghana. An association of around 400 women from 10 villages, The Body Shop ensure a fair price for their product. Since trading with The Body Shop the women have been able to dramatically change their lives with water pipes and wells saving hours of water collecting, better housing, medical care, food, and self esteem. Importantly, they are also able to give their children, particularly their daughters, the chance to go to school.

If you have been looking for a good and reasonably priced hand cream you might want to try this one. It works for me. :)

Retails at: RM39 for 100ml

Tip: As you unscrew the cover hold the pot close to your nose to take in every bit of that gorgeous smell.. :)
