I found myself doing two reviews with this outfit shoot. Which means the photos from this shoot that took about 20 minutes will be featured in three separate posts. Outfit, hair, shoes all in one. This shoot must have been the fastest one yet. Perhaps I wasn't being too picky and vain. Talk about killing many birds with one stone. *phewh*

I am not sure why I haven't taken any photos with this red jumper. It's one of my faves and it's one of those pieces I have been wearing too often believe or not. Since the material is light and obviously sheer it's great for the weather. Especially if you have the sudden urge to layer when it's 26°C and raining out.

I wasn't too sure about those leggings at first, but now I'm soo happy I got them. It's like a washed out patchy leopard. *laughs* But I think it works great. Hmm.. might be starting a new obsession now - leggings!! *noooo...*

I don't need an excuse to wear a bling cat ear headband and sequin skirts. It would be great if I could wear a sequin item everyday but that's a tough one to get away with in my case. Imagine the gasps of horror at my work place.

I had an awesome early Birthday dinner last Thursday with too much food. Reflecting on the year that passed, I have had a great time, learned so much, met some new people, wished I didn't do some things and ate some delish desserts. Here's hoping the next year will be even more fabulously amazing than the last. *fingers crossed*

I finally got around to making a few more bracelets over the past few days. Been wanting to make more but I haven't had much time lately. The shambala style ones, silver beads with blue cord in photo, might be so last year but I still love them. Will make a few more of those. Managed to take a few quick shots in between errands yesterday. I realised too late that the bracelets shot wasn't too clear, but they will definitely be making an apprearance in future outfit posts.

I'm also wearing Levi's summer colour jeans. Not only is the colour lighter but so is the fabric. I had some problems while trying on the summer range because 99% were just too stretchy. I don't really do too well with stretchy ones due to lack of curves so I usually look for thicker denim ones. But these ones weren't too bad. I told the guy who was helping me out at the Levi's store, "Not so stretchy please". Tried on 6 pairs before I settled on this pair. I'm such a fuss pot, won't deny it. :P

Coming up: Smaller pores might just be possible.

I attended the launch of Malaysia's first beauty box concept called Fabulous Finds on Saturday. It was a somewhat challenging afternoon but I expected nothing less. Since it was hot out as it usually is I decided to go with a pair of floral shorts I recently bought on a shopping trip with Traclyn. It reminds me of a pair out of Zara and Miss Sixty. I think it's adorable especially with the zippers and I just added on a pair of light tights for quirkiness. I also got my nails done at the launch/tea session. It's my first time having a nude colour on and I don't think I fancy it much. The red however is really pretty, it's the colour Jean got in her door gift at the session.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys, something unexpected happened over afternoon tea at the launch which I found socially unacceptable and it was addressed to me - "Since you are Malay, you must think all Chinese food taste good". Let me clarify something, I am fully capable of assessing whether food of any origin taste good or is just not fit for consumption. If it lacks taste or I feel it is of inferior quality I don't eat it. I always think it's best to stop and think before saying anything. Otherwise there's always that possiblity of strange statements like such coming up.

Will post more about Fabulous Finds some time this week and I have more plans for those cute shorts. :)

I wish I could live in a pair of denims. It's versatile, it looks great, you can wear it with almost anything and the longer you wear it , with washing included of course, it just gets comfier. When I found out about a Style Your Levi's contest recently, I couldn't help but send in a photo. I wasn't expecting to get anything out of it. I figured since I always had a camera with me and getting me in a  pair of jeans is never difficult, why not.

I was inspired by a Rock Chick look. Then again I always am. I wanted colour and was dying to wear a faux leather waistcoat I got earlier this year. Sadly the waistcoat didn't photograph very well with this outfit so I switched to a studded one. Which I thought turned out pretty cool!

I wore my Levi's Slight Curve in Straight Cut, a perfect fit for my body shape which lacks curves *sigh*. To showcase the jeans in all its glory I added on a leather belt from MNG. For colour I wore a coral lace top from Forever 21. To add a glam vibe to the rock chick inspired look I had on a studded waistcoat from Forever 21 which I bought from Caron Boutique. I found out last week I was one of the winners of the contest just by wearing my fave pair of jeans. Awesome! ^^

P/s:  I will be running a GIVEAWAY some time this week with something from KIEHL'S. There are THREE(3) prizes to be won. So check back! :)

I'm really not one for heels. More often than not I will only wear them if I have to. Don't get me wrong though, I appreciate a gorgeous pair of heels but wearing them is another story all together. Which is why I always opt for flats, they are loads more comfy and I don't have to fear tripping to my death. Ridiculous I know.

One of my all time faves is a pair of Converse which I swear looks good with almost anything. I got these pair of Sparkle Nightshade early last month as a belated birthday present and am still completely adoring it. Lurv the colour. Lurv how the sequins sparkle when light bounces off it even more. I kept my outfit simple to focus on my shiny new kicks. The shoes were a definite head turner. Looks fabulous in action! Oh and featuring my new hair colour in Ash. :)

*smiles* Hey, that's where it went. I was looking for stuff in my store room when I stumbled upon one of my fave jumpers. I used to wear this with everything during uni days in UK because it has such a classic look with a hint of character. Can't really walk around much with it here, the 34°C temprature is a killer. *roasting*

So after the walk the navy jumper went back into the wardrobe filled with warm clothes until I decide to go on a nippy Spring trip. Could there be a trip in the air.. *wonders*

Oh-emm-gee!! Amy Lee's vocals is freaking amazing! When I heard Evanescence was coming to KL I made sure I got my ticket early. Yesterday's showcase rocked!! They played their hits and also songs from their new album. As much as I wanted to record the whole thing it just wasn't possible for either of my human arms to stay in the air that long. So looking forward to a proper concert. It was sheer awesomeness! Come back soon Evanescence!!!

I'm not sure if one of the videos loaded fully here, if not look for me on youtube @ FatinChocolateCats.

One of my fave T's from H&M. The graphic is artsy with a hint of freakish. Plus it's so comfy. I got this one from the H&M store on Oxford Street, London. Brings back memories when I used to drop by H&M every week to see whats new and end up buying too many things. Lol. But soon enough I don't have to go so far to get some really cool stuff. H&M is finally coming to KL!! *throws confetti & jumps around like a looney*

With the rumour starting way back in 2009, I heard H&M is making its way to Malaysia some time in Autumn 2012! Hinting that its first store could be in a mall along Jalan Bukit Bintang, Suria KLCC or Mid Valley Mega Mall, this news is simply brilliant.

Though I have a feeling it could be a mall along Jalan Bukit Bintang since they are looking for a store that could be between 10,000 to 30,000 sq feet. Hmm.. that sounds like the size of where Debenhams is currently located at Lot 10. Debenhams is moving out to Starhill Gallery after all. *smiless*

How I wish Malaysia had a slightly cooler climate so we could walk around with light coats and pretty scarves. *missing england*

MNG, Topshop, ZARA, Forever 21 (to name a few) and shops at Sungei Wang offers a range of choices in various styles, colours and fabrics. Those Korean ones with cotton floral print with lace combo and bits on sides are so cute. Accessorize carries such pretty silk selection. Scarves are just a great way to jazz up any outfit.

Bright Florals are in for Spring
Left : Aloha Tropical Postcard Silk Square Scarf  £15.00
Right : Neon Paisley Pom Pom Silk Square Scarf £15.00

Most of them are reasonably priced. The cottons ones are usually between RM29.90 to RM59.90. What if I told you I found one similar to the ones you would find at the shops mentioned, at a fraction of the price. Have I gotten your attention yet.. *grins*

I got this for RM8! Where? At Jalan TAR (near Sogo). You can find a lot of nice and pretty stuff for a steal at the Bazaars along that road if you look carefully. Have always lurved that place.

Dress it up any way you want.. with a dragonfly brooch.. :)

It is a light cotton material in purplish blue with green and blue floral prints. A combination of the scarves from F21 and Accessorize - Purple, Floral & Bright ;). I shall wear this to a place with strong air-conditioning (to avoid sweating..), maybe Pavilion. It can get quite nippy if you spend long periods shopping there. Or is it just me? Not enough meat. Lol!
