Wearing Scholl's Destinee in Wine

When I hear Scholl I think specialist footwear, footwear that is designed for comfort or to correct a certain condition. Style however, not so much. I'm still not too sure whether I managed to make this pair I picked out from the Destinee range, less 'aunty'. So I came to a conclusion that if you are the type person that is concerned as to whether foot wear looks trendy and still want some sort of comfort, make sure your dressing is funky and stay away from anything too slouchy. It would help. A bit about Scholl before you guys read my review on that pair I'm wearing.

Meet Carliana. She's a peep toe ombre and she's seriously comfy. It's like I have fluffy cushions strapped to my feet. This pair is from Crocs Spring Summer 2012 Collection. Bet you didn't see that coming did you. Neither did I when I saw it. I could not resist the eye catching gradient citrus-aqua combo. Plus it's so not Crocs. If you have read my earlier post on Croc's Spring Summer 2012, crocs has reinvented itself and has come up with these amazing designs that's great for almost any occassion. Read here.

If you already own a pair then you must know how comfy they are. If you are like me and you have never tried them on before here's a little bit on what makes them comfy. The footbed is made out a Croslite material which is a foam resin that holds its form really well and provides more cushioning for your feet. Those footbed nubs you feel as soon as you slip your foot in offers a massage-like feel and for the fun and luminous pop of colour. Notice the holes by the side? They are ventilation port which allows your feet to breathe. So that your feet won't go all sweaty in the shoe.

I love the colour I chose. Have I said that already? Despite the bright hue, it really is very easy to match with outfits but I prefer wearing it at the weekend. I walked for hours without complaining about aching feet. Not that I moan about aching feet at the weekends anyway since I'm always in a pair of Havaianas but this gives me the option to look a tad more 'dressy'. Loving this colour for Summer! Oh and please excuse the swollen right foot, I was attemping a back flip and the landing went wrong. Or at least that's the story I'm spinning, it sounds much more dangerous and exciting than what really happened. *laughs*

The next time you walk pass a Crocs store you might want to retrace a few steps back and check out the Spring Summer 2012 collection or you could visit their online store at www.crocs.com.my.

Coming up: Perhaps skincare or shall I show you my new finds *ponders*

When Crocs first came to Malaysia I told myself there was no way I was going to be seen in a pair of those unsightly footwear despite ravings of comfort from so many people. So when I received an email with the subject "New Crocs New You" I had my reservations but couldn't help but be curious. When I googled it I found out that it is a new campaign from Crocs which also featured their latest Spring Summer 2012 collection. I was well surprised at how really pretty and wearable the new collection looks. Ignoring what I told myself ages ago, I would so wear them now.

With the tagline Walk in Comfort, Wear in Style, the Spring Summer 2012 Collection features a whole new range of stylish designs that will fit your everyday needs without compromising its signature comfort. Each pair is super lightweight so you can walk further in comfort and style  every day. The Croslite technology used for the footbed gives exceptional comfort from sun up to sun down. Oh how I relish the thought of looking stylish without going "My feet is killing me" by midday. Crocs is also running an amazing contest that you wouldn't want to miss to read on to find out more. :)

The new collection caters for both women and men for weekdays and the weekend. You can pair your crocs with virtually anything. Well almost anything. Here are some photos from their fashion show at Midvalley yesterday showcasing the latest in store.

My pick would be the translucent ones. They remind me of those jelly sandals but these are way more trendy and comfy! The luminous candy-like pop of colour is simply eye catching. I just wished there were more designs for women available in store. Then I would be eyeing the boat shoes, peep toe ombre, floral flatnautical graphics and Thrilita. I have also been graciously invited to review a pair of Crocs from the Spring Summer 2012 collection, which I will, once I have chosen the right pair. *picky picky*

The price tag on this latest collection ranges from RM169-RM289 for womens and RM139-RM372 for mens. Now the bit that you have all been waiting for.

My day got a bit brighter when I received these Sparkle Nightshade Converse as a long awaited very belated birthday present this morning, one of many, from darr-ling brother. *smiles* I really wanted these ones, the purple sequins are just fab but since the Malaysian stores don't carry it, he brought it back from Melbourne. Completely adore them! Thanks x infinity you!! *big huge hugzz*
