Here's the second part of the looks created by the Bobbi Brown team for Day 4 and 5. There were a few looks I liked over the past five days and some of them can be easily recreated for daily wear. Again, this is photo heavy but definitely one worth browsing through. Enjoy!

 

Day 4

 

The entire five days was just manic. But I was just excited to be backstage again with Bobbi Brown at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFWRTW) 2015. This year has been very exciting because a lot of the looks were created by the local senior artists. They also had Felix Nguyen Bobbi Brown's Manager of Artistry (Asia Pacific) along with two artists from Hong Kong and China respectively backstage this year. It really is amazing to watch the artists work and see what they created because it was the first time I was seeing the looks, which were so beautiful.

 

Frizz happens, dimiss it. Catchy tagline. I like it. Did it dismiss my frizz? Breaking it down, so read on. I attended a pamper session at the newly opened Atmosphere Salon at Atria Shopping Centre some time last month. Redken Frizz Dismiss is a new range targeted at controlling frizz on all hair types and in al humidity. It offers the first ever Frizz Protection  (FPF) - 3 levels of smoothing and humidity protection that address all frizzy hair types, from fine to coarse and unruly.

Origins has created an antidote for skin's quarter life crisis, it's the Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum. The 20's is when the skin goes into the next stage. It's either you are growing out of that awkward acne-filled teenage years and your skin is starting to look better or you notice certain changes in your skin when it comes to texture, pore size, skin tone and even skin type. It's also the time when start looking for a suitable skin care routine. Including five different types of serums may not exactly be feasible. So finding one for a twenty-something skin that is able to give you that all-round improve is the best option, unless of course you are looking for something more targeted.

It's the time of the cushion compact thanks to the Korean beauty scene. Although intrigued, I have always been skeptical. Lancome released the Blanc Expert Cushion Compact some time earlier this year in Malaysia and it completely sold out. They recently brought in the second batch and I get to check out what all they hype is about.

Probably the coolest description of a skincare product ever. For dull, tired and grumpy skin. With a description like that, it's hard not to be curious. The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser is the latest edition to the Vitamin C range and is meant to reveal natural, healthy-looking glow. It is infused with Amazonian camu camu berries, which contain up to 60 times the vitamin C concentration of an orange. It also contains organic aloe vera to hydrate the skin.

It's looking really festive at The Body Shop. With Eid just around the corner, it's the perfect time to spoil you loved ones with gifts. Not only did The Body Shop introduce two new luxurious fragrances this Ramadhan - Red Musk™ Oud and the special edition Life Is...™ Gold Collections, you will be spoilt for choice, from exquisite fragrances, gorgeous body care and must have makeup. The packaging for this year's Eid gift sets are beautiful. I dare say the nicest I have seen The Body Shop do so far.

I was so excited when this arrived! I have been using the L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Masque in the previous formula for a few years. It has been my go to hair masque and I completely swear by it. Read the review here. L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Color A-OX is designed for coloured hair - colour perfecting and colour fixing. It is targeted to enhance glow, colour accuracy and colour eveness.

Get super glossy lips for Summer with these new Urban Decay Revolution High-Colour Lipgloss. And I mean crazy glossy. Described as being high-coverage, ultra-pigmented, the formula lays down all the colour you crave in one coat. The Pigment Infusion System gives the formula its super creamy texture, high pigmentation and super colour dispersion. It's also laced with Hilurlip, which defines and hydrate lips while making them look plumper and fuller.

It think it has been a while since I wrote about an event but this was a fun one because I got to hang out with the girls. All four of us - Jean, Reiko & Arisa. It was also nice to catch up with Blair after so many months. Christian Dior recently launched the La Collection Privee in conjunction with the Dior Pavilion KL Boutique opening. This is the second one after Mid Valley last month.

Despite having a really good skin month with minimal breakout in May, June hasn't been very forgiving. Early June was ridden with breakouts, hence the lack of makeup/skincare reviews because my bare face was just annoying to take before-after photos of. My usual spot treatment wasn't being effective enough. When the lovely people over at Estee Lauder found out, they kindly sent me the Estee Lauder Clear Difference Targeted Blemish Treatment to see if it will help.

Urban Decay does single blush shades for Summer 2015 and they have some pretty ones. The idea behind the Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Blush is to give that sexy lit-from-within glow that makes people wonder if you spent the whole weekend in a secret love den. It's meant to go sheer, yet buildable and give you that 8-hour long wear. It comes in 9 shades here ranging from mattes to shimmers, pink to mauve to red-range. It is however missing Quiver a bright red, which is a shame really because it shows such promise from swatches online.

Shu Uemura Blanc:Chroma is formulated to give you 4D brightening which is achieved by eliminating all chroma imperfections on top of dark spots. I think I wondered whether there was such a thing as 4D brightening first and then chroma what? Basically it refers to the 4 chroma imperfections - yellow dullness, brown spots, pale skin tone and uneven redness. To correct this, Shu Uemura has introduced the concept of 4D brighetning which is a new stage of whitening beyond dark spots, targeting the 4 chroma imperfections by using Shu Uemura's unique approach with cleansing oil and essence.

I haven't already guessed, it's a misting type of thing which makes taking care of your skin loads simpler.

The Chrisopher Kane x NARS Summer 2015 Limited Edition Collection has only been in store for about a week and Outer Limits is already sold out. I kid you not. I was at the newly opened NARS store at Midvalley on Saturday to play around with the colours from this new collection.

Yup this was a May favourite and still going strong. The new Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask. It's a first from Clinique and is designed to detoxify the skin of impurities, minimise the appearance of pores and reduce shine with a blend of clays and charcoal powder.

If like me you have blemish prone skin, this is something that you will want to check out. Clinique has launched what it calls the Breakout-Fighting Duo - the first a cleanser, the second a new brush head that complements it.

The bottle looks so mysterious that you just can't resist taking a a closer look. Lancome recently launched it's latest fragrance Lancome La Nuit Tresor, a new addition to the Tresor range. The campaign is fronted by Penelope Cruz and Illay Kurelovic which tells the story of two unqie individuals, a star and her boxer lover who are different yet complementary, they are irresistably drawn towards each other. The recent launch however was with a friend of Lancome Malaysia, actress entrepreneur, Neelofa.

Definite eye candy. What else can I say that hasn't already been said? I'm searching my brain as I type this, but if I don't come up with anything new well at least you guys will know how much I have been loving these blushers at the moment. The NARS Dual Intensity Blush is described as purely pigmented colour with seamless customisable coverage. It is formulated with NARS exclusive Translucent Prismatic Technology features pearls and pigments perfectly suspended n transparent soft base to allow for multi-dimensional effect.

I can't help but think of candy every time I look at the packaging of these new lippies from Clinique. Clinique Pop Lip Colour & Primer is basically a rich colour lipstick and smoothing primer in one. It is formulated with Shea and Murumu butters to nourish the lips. The flexible polymers keeps the colours fresh and vibrant while on your lips. The long-wear formulation is meant to last for up to 8 hours.

I bet some you didn't know Estee Lauder offered such a service. Now that you know, it's something that you should take full advantage of because there's loads of tips and tricks that you can pick up. I spent an afternoon with Estee Lauder learning more about the 3-Minute Service. "3 minutes is all beauty should ever take", that's what Estee Lauder said. I wish it would only take that long, but the fastest I can do is 15 minutes for the most basic, the results, questionable.

If you're diligent with body care then a body serum will most likely be a welcome addition especially if it smells this amazing. I'm talking about L'Occitane's first ever body serum, the Almond Velvet Serum meant not only for added hydration but also to help reverse signs of ageing due to sun damage.

Over the weekend Clinique introduced the New Turnaround Revitalizing specialists which is formulated to awaken radiance from deep within by boosting skin's natural cell renewal, which has slowed down due to stress, fatigue and environmental aggressors. I think I was a lot  more interested at the thought of lifting as opposed to pore-tightening, although both are ageing concerns, I have somehow learned to live with the large pores. The loss of firmness however is a different story. The new Kiehl's Dermatologist Solutions Precisions Lifting & Pore-Tightening Concentrate significantly increase skin firmness, tautness and smoothness thereby giving it the lifting effect, improves the look of facial skin's overall "bounce-back" quality and definition and visibly reduces the size and appearance of enlarged pores.

Looks like Shu Uemura has up their base options. The Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse has been one of my faves for years and something I would recommend if you have oily skin. Now what can be more exciting than having the POREraser and a CC combined.
