Giving back, it's not hard with The Brand with a Heart..

Love Your Body Love Your World by WEvents was not only fun but it was very insightful as well. I'm insipired by The Truly Loving Co.'s (TLC) mission to give back to the less fortunate. I came across TLC while I was doing my groceries at Giant Supermarket about a year and half back. Curious about the brand, I googled it. TLC is the only company in Malaysia that donates 100% of its dividend to Charity!! You have to applaud that!

Julia Chong, CEO & Founder of TLC gave a heartfelt insight on TLC

TLC seeks to establish a means to provide regular and sustainable source of income to charities. To do this TLC produces  a range of household and personal care products ranging from bath & body, kitchen cleaners, floor cleaners and bathroom cleaners which are good if not better than other major brands. And No Animal Testing involved!

Promo pack at WEvents, a very good deal!

All their dividends are held on trust by HSBC (Malaysia) Trustee Berhad for their Charity Partners namely Rumah Aman, Hospis Malaysia, Shelter Home for Children, Handicapped and Mentally Disabled Children Association Johor Bahru and NASAM (National Stroke Association of Malaysia).  All you have to do is buy TLC products and all the dividends and distribution goes to the 5 Charity Partners. It is an easy and convenient way to do your part to help the less fortunate. So the next time you go grocery shopping, or if your mom does the shopping make it a concious effort to buy TLC! Keep in mind that you're helping another soul that doesn't live the priviliged life you do. I've changed a lot of my household products to TLC over the past year and a half and I'm definitely going to continue using them for a long time to come. :)

TLC won the Prime Minister's CSR Awards 2009 Small Company Category

Thanx loads WEvents for featuring TLC! ♥

Warehouse (the high street brand, just in case you were thinking of something else..*winks*) showcased their Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection at Pavilion yesterday. It was also in conjunction with the opening of their new Pavilion store.

Hunny Madu the Host decked in Warehouse

Magician dude entertaining guests while waiting for the show to start

The first thing I noticed are the colours for this season. Istead of the usual gloomy winter colours, Warehouses' party looks has quite a selection of pretty and bold colours. The camel trend is also very big from coats, midis and dresses. And you just can't go without the aviator jacket, faux fur and thick wooley cardis *unfortunately our weather just does not allow us to walk around stylishly bundled up.. sigh*. Zip details, studs and embellishments add variety to the pieces.

This dress is soo sexy!!
Though I think it suit tall babes loads better..

Here's more stuff you can find in store..

Funky studded party dress!

If you're a Warehouse fan, don't forget to check out this collection.. :)

Yeah this happened last week.. But I'm compensating my tardiness with loads of photos from Topshop & Topman Fall/Winter 2010 Collection!! Yippee!!

It was a launch plus fashion show for their latest collection at KLCC Concourse with yummy bites from Coffee Bean. Seriously, I couldn't stop eating the Brownies!! *drooling just thinking about it*

Topshop's Fall/Winter 2010 Collection ranges from Dark Nouveau, Into the Wild and The Outsiders, plus the Kate Moss collection. Dark Nouveau focuses on chainmail pieces, embellishments and studded detailing. It's sexily dark! Into the Wild wouldn't be complete without faux fur, prints, crochet and disheveled fabrics. The Outsiders screams all things British, fur collars, trims and button details adds a twist to plaid and tweed. The Kate Moss Collection is always one to look forward to. I heard that this season will be her last with this highstreet brand. Say it isn't so!! *sobss* This season can't get anymore vintage, it features soft chiffons, floral dresses, printed blouses and knitwear. I adore the chiffon pieces!! Absolutely gorgeous!

My FAVE Look!! ♥ ♥ the top!!!

Topman finally has it's own store!! More shopping for the guys. Apart from the staple wool jackets, blazers and jumpers, camouflage prints & colours, oversized tees are a must this season. Nautical stripes and plaid adds variety for guys who are looking for something other than the usual solids.

I'm not sure if this look will work on any guy but the model sure made it look damn good!!

Seriously those bottoms on the left looks like jammies!

Party moves In Store! I've never seen Topshop packed with that much people before. Don't even get me started with the line for the fitting rooms and cashier. There's loads more accessories in store - shoes, bags, jewellery and hot water bottles!
