I got a bit bored of taking city photos with the Samsung Galaxy Camera, everything just looks dull and grey. So I reckoned what better place to inject bucket loads of colours in my photos and see what the Samsung Galaxy Camera can really do by making a trip to the KL Bird Park - World's Largest Free-flight Walk-in Aviary.

I almost didn't make it to the evening with GUESS! The traffic jam was a pain but I managed to get there in time for the fashion show. *phewhh!* The VIP night was planned to reward loyal shoppers and attract new fans who are excited about GUESS. The best part was that I was one of the first group of people who got to see some amazing pieces from GUESS Glam Denim Collection. Woohoo!

I expected Lancôme Spring 2013 Collection - Lancôme In Love to be out sooner here but it was delayed for quite a bit and even now there are two products which have yet to make an appearance, the one that I really want to see ie the Blush In Love and the Dewy Mist. The colours of the Baume In Love are also not complete. But the rest of the products from the collection are already available. I recently found out that Aveda has been in Malaysia for 16 years!! Despite knowing about the brand for ages, I thought they made their entry into the country with their stand alone store in Bangsar Village II about 6 years back. The store is now located at Pavilion which I've walked past quite a few times but never got around to exploring.

I was well excited when I got a chance to attend the Aveda Styling Discovery. I love cosy sessions, there's so much more time to find out more about everything. I was greeted with  a special Aveda Comforting Tea and an intriguing game to find out my Chakra pure-fume for the moment. Eight cards were laid out on the table and I had to choose two/three depending on the design that was most attracted to. Eventually I ended up with the symbol that represent "Intention" which said that I was feeling imbalanced therefore resulting in mental block, nervousness and impatience. It was shockingly true, I was experiencing uninspired to write in that few days. After spraying the Balancing Body Mist in Chakra-3 my mind felt a lot more calm. Strange.. in a good way.

I attended the Arty Professional Exclusive Bloggers Event courtesy of Tammy @ plusizekitten yesterday. Arty Professional is a brand from Thailand that is relatively new to me. The session involved introducing the brand, products and sharing of tips from Arty Professional Creative Director P'Fee.

Arty Professional pays a lot of attention to its base. "A perfect base is key", they said. Apart from the Sparkling Primer, they have three types of complexion modifiers to minimise imperfections and modify skin tone.

The complete Kanebo Lunasol Spring 2013 Collection is finally out! Though I have already posted some preview photos earlier here. I attended the cosy launched session yesterday and the room where it was held looked like a pretty candy store. Vibrant colours everywhere. Drawing inspiration from the beautiful colours of a butterfly the collection is just pretty!

I just had to do this! Go for a sushi lunch. Not just any random sushi lunch, I even brought my own sushi. Wierd.. *cricketss* Really, I got these bunch of sushi bits from KWERKEE and I went for lunch with them. Didn't say I ate them though. *laughs*

The latest beauty box in town but not new as they have already extablished themselves in Singapore. I'm pretty sure a lot of you already know by now that I'm not much into "boxes" and perhaps the only reason why I accepted this invitation was because it was an exclusive event held by Vanity Trove together with Kanebo. I had such a good experience at the Kanebo Lunasol Purifying Makeup Event (read here) and Spring Collection 2013 Preview late last year (read here).

It was one of those Saturdays where I was so lazy to get out of my ridiculously comfy stay at home ensemble but I had to hunt for dinner. The only thing missing is a cropped leather jacket to complete this look. At 34°C? Really? *laughs*

Every time I whipped out this cute mini camera I get curious stares and I also got asked where I got it from! Great conversations starters too. There's loads of quirky (hence the name), cool and random things you can get from Kwerkee and this must be one of the really fun ones to play with. What makes it even more fun is that there's no view finder so you might end up with a collection of random photos. That's what happened to me when I was trying to figure out how to use it. It was ridiculously funny!

I'm really terrible at regular facial visits. I usually go when I feel like it. Most of the time I tend to do stuff at home which is not enough. On New Year's Eve I tried out their latest treament called O2 Acu Energizing Therapy. It also include AsterSpring's latest Signature Touch massage technique performed before the treatment. I'm not which one I was looking forward to more, the massage or the treatment. The Signature Touch was launched late last year.
