Finalists for L'Oreal Colour Trophy 2012 Unveiled
The L'Oreal Colour Trophy is back and the 14 finalists were recently unveiled. Considered to be the Oscars of the hairdressing industry, it's into it eight year with a theme that pays homage to beauty in 'French' Prefection through hairdressing, women, life and arts - 'A Tribute To Beauty'.
The theme for 2012 celebrates beauty in four aspects that reflect the Frenchtitude (the French sense of beauty) of L'Oreal Professioanl - Beauty in Hairdressing, Beauty in Women, Beauty in Life and Beauty in Arts. Beauty in Hairdressing pays homage to the success and tribulations of famous hairdressers with styles that are distinctively French. Beauty in Women takes a look into iconic French beauties as inpsirations whilst Beauty in Life celebrates the culture (from fashion to design and cuisine) that is essentially French. Beauty in Arts journeys into the different eras fromt he Renaissance period to modern day aesthetics as well as ancient paint form to present 3D immersion arts with a sense of elegance.
The finalists were selected by a panel of professional judges based on artistry, life and admiration, a masterpiece that breaks the norm while exuding exceptional quality creativity and the utmost expertise as a hairdresser.
There will also be a hair showcase by five established L'Oreal Artistic Ambassadors who lend their espertise in creating th elooks inspired by L'Oreal Professional Spring/Summer 2012 Colour Collection. Albert Nico, founder of Albert nico Boutique Salon, Andy Chan founder of Andy Chan Hair Studio, Kevin Woo founder of Centro Hair Salon, Miko Au, foudner of Miko Galere and Simon Koh founder of ELLE Hair Studio.
The Winner gets to bring home a brand new Toyota Vios 1.5G Limited in Deep Amethyst Mica Metallic, a 5-Day 3-Night trip to London to be part of the L'Oreal Colour Trophy United Kingdom Gala Night, feature in Malaysia's top women's magazines namely Female, NuYou and Eh! and exposure on an international platform by having the oppurtunity to experience another L'Oreal Colour Trophy in one of the Asian countries as an esteemed judge.
