This happened last night as part of Estee Lauder Malaysia's Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. This year's campaign however wasn't as inclusive at previous year's campaign. It didn't include any BCA related programmes, talks and sorts, unless it's post illumination. So the only thing I have for you guys are photos of last night illumination of the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur. Remember to do your self-examination!
I think it took ages for them to open and yes I have been waiting. Harrods Cafe @ KLCC is located on the Ground Floor next to the Isetan park entrance. The entrance looks a tad out of place compared to KLCC's steel exterior but it gives a great English Cafe vibe with a small alfresco dining with white picket fences surrounding the area.
photo of the outside entrance later today, it was dark out by the time I finished
Okay I know I haven't exactly been posting regularly. It's just that I've been trying to finish up loads of work stuff before next week. Malaysia International Fashion Week 2011 is happening next week and it's going to be hectic!
I managed to have a proper sit down meal yesterday instead of the having a Subway on the go the past few days. It's a wonder I didn't choke at any point of time. It was a birthday meal so it had to be a sit down. No not mine, mine was way back in September. It was a friend's birthday so dinner was my treat.
The venue was San Francisco Steakhouse at KLCC. Before I go on about the food I realised I was wearing one of my new bracelets when I looked through the photos. It's the gold studded friendship bracelet I bought from Jeans Closet. I figured the light blue was a great contrast to my red knitted top. It can go pretty dressy too.
Drink: Ice Latte - RM9.50
Gold Studded Friendship Bracelet from Jeans Closet - RM30
So for dinner we had the San Francisco Burger which is a classic beef burger topped with beef bacon slices and melted cheddar cheese. I'm not sure if the portion was tiny or it just looked tiny because the plate was extra large. Otherwise the beef was tender and juicy but was a tad on the well done side despite asking for a medium well. For RM22.90 it was alright but I felt they could have been more generous with the portion at the price.
Was munching one this while waiting for my food. Needless to say I was starving.
Since I've had a craving for something fishie I went for the obvious Fish and Chips. Would have lurved a good pub style one though. No chance of that happening so I'll take what I can get. The two fillets of fish were more than enough to fill me up. Well seasoned batter with fish still looking white and nice inside. The coleslaw was crunchie and wasn't drenched in mayo. Plus point. The tartar sauce wasn't something I really fancied. I'm a salt and vinegar kinda chic. *seriously missing pub style fish and chippies* RM26.90 for this dish.
For dessert I opted for the Chocolate Marble Cake drizzled with blueberry coulis. The layers of thick rich chocolate, sponge and cream was quite alright. I'm guessing it was freshly made coz the sponge was still moist. Would have preferred a raspberry coulis though. RM12.90 a slice.
I was well stuffed and sleepy after. Well back to meals on the go today. If you don't hear from me again this week, stay tuned for next week. It's going to be rocking awesome!! ^^

When Jimmy Choo comes calling I put my Havaianas aside and bring out the sky high heels. Okie maybe not sky high but heels nonetheless. I have this horrid fear of tripping to my death in sky high heels. I attended Jimmy Choo's Autumn/Winter '11 Preview *by Special Invite only^^* at KLCC about a week back and I fell head over heels *no pun intended* with these boots. I have a soft spot for all things lace, so that was a no brainer and the suede and mesh were perfect to make a statement.
This time of year is great for limelight stealing shoes. Think glamorous and loads of bling, embellishments, crystals, sequins and animals print which are really big this season. Apart from the sexy lace, expect velvet and suede from knee high boots, ankle boots, sandals and pumps.
To compliment the shoes, Jimmy Choo also has clutches in various designs, luxuriously embellished or in a classic style. If you prefer something that can fit more than just a phone, compact and a lippie, there's also a selection of handbags, totes and hobos. The choice is yours.
I realised something after finishing this post, there are more photos of bags than shoes. Chic with insane fetish for bags, can't help it. *sigh* Like a crow attracted to shiny things, I'm liking the embellished and bling shoes of this season. Plus it's all about statement shoes!

The Catherine Collection - Named after the Duchess of Windsor to celebrate the royal wedding this collection symbolises ladylike classicism. Though I think the shape of this bag in particular is more suited for the mature woman. The shoes however, is definitely something I would wear.

These are Jimmy Choo's iconic bags that can bring you from day to evening 7 days a week.
Although Rhea (left) is one of the bestsellers, I personally prefer Rhys (right) for its classic design and spaciousness. Me and big bags, just can't run away from them.

I'm always sceptical when a new dessert place opens up and claims it has "The Best.. something or other". So when I saw The Cream & Fudge Factory finally opened at KLCC and saw their tageline, "The Creamiest Ice Cream On Earth" I didn't believe them! Lol! But something new deserves a chance so I tried it out.
The menu looked quite exciting with a variety of ice cream flavours with a long selection of toppings and mix-ins ranging from chocolate fudge, m&m's, brownies, strawberries, chocolate chips, it's almost endless. You can either create your own or choose from the Cream & Fudge creations. I found out that the ice cream is from Australia, which meant that it could be yummy. :P Though if I'm not mistaken the franchise is owned by a US-based company.
If you want to "Create Your Own Ice Cream", first you have to pick you ice cream flavour or flavours, then pick a mix-in and whether you want to have it in a waffle cone or a waffle bowl. Then you can stand in front of the counter while they hand fold the ice cream and your mix-in of choice on a cold marble stone. It's like playing with your food!! I should ask them if I could do it next time. Looks fun!
My Ice Cream Choices of the Day
Vanilla & Chocolate Ice Cream with chopped Almonds and Bananas in a waffle bowl - RM16.90
Cookie Dough Ice Cream with Brownies and Chocolate Fudge in a waffle bowl - RM11.50
Peanut Ice Cream with Duo Chocolate Chips and Chocolate Fudge in a waffle bowl RM11.50
The ice cream is definitely creamy! Though it may not be the "Creamiest on Earth", it sure does satisfy my craving for a good yummy ice cream. It's smooth and I can taste the flavours clearly. Gosh I could even see the vanilla seeds in the Vanilla ice cream. The toppings and mixes are of a good quality and fresh. As for the price it does seem a bit pricey but the other premium ice creams brands are just as expensive.
I dubb this "My New Hang Out Place"! *winks*
Don't forget to get a stamp card
For every RM20 you get 1 stamp

They also have an oulet at Fahrenheit 88, Bukit Bintang
Cafe Vienna opened its second outlet on Saturday at KLCC!! Yayy I don't have to go so far for my Chocolate Lava Cake anymore. Woohoo!! Like Lot 10 is very far. Lol!! It's great that there's yet another alternative place to eat in KLCC. Review for Choc Lava Cake here.
The decor is pretty much the same as their outlet at Lot 10
Keeping to the classic Austrian style cafe
Look Up!
The ceiling is a lil different here, instead of mirrors it has flying cupids/angels painted on it.. I likey!
I decided to go there for tea today. I ordered the Vienesse Iced Coffee which is one of my all time faves and a piece of cake, Opera.
I was disappointed with the Opera though. It was rather dry and lack the fine smooth taste like the Opera I had at Mandarin Oriental *droolzz~*. Then again, why am I comparing to the one at MO. Read my review for Opera at MO here.
Still, I'm excited that it's finally opened! You might bump into me there. :)

Yeah this happened last week.. But I'm compensating my tardiness with loads of photos from Topshop & Topman Fall/Winter 2010 Collection!! Yippee!!
It was a launch plus fashion show for their latest collection at KLCC Concourse with yummy bites from Coffee Bean. Seriously, I couldn't stop eating the Brownies!! *drooling just thinking about it*
Topshop's Fall/Winter 2010 Collection ranges from Dark Nouveau, Into the Wild and The Outsiders, plus the Kate Moss collection. Dark Nouveau focuses on chainmail pieces, embellishments and studded detailing. It's sexily dark! Into the Wild wouldn't be complete without faux fur, prints, crochet and disheveled fabrics. The Outsiders screams all things British, fur collars, trims and button details adds a twist to plaid and tweed. The Kate Moss Collection is always one to look forward to. I heard that this season will be her last with this highstreet brand. Say it isn't so!! *sobss* This season can't get anymore vintage, it features soft chiffons, floral dresses, printed blouses and knitwear. I adore the chiffon pieces!! Absolutely gorgeous!
My FAVE Look!! ♥ ♥ the top!!!
Topman finally has it's own store!! More shopping for the guys. Apart from the staple wool jackets, blazers and jumpers, camouflage prints & colours, oversized tees are a must this season. Nautical stripes and plaid adds variety for guys who are looking for something other than the usual solids.
I'm not sure if this look will work on any guy but the model sure made it look damn good!!
Seriously those bottoms on the left looks like jammies!
Party moves In Store! I've never seen Topshop packed with that much people before. Don't even get me started with the line for the fitting rooms and cashier. There's loads more accessories in store - shoes, bags, jewellery and hot water bottles!
Bags! *sigh*
Liking the off white flowery pair
Guessing I got the shoes?
