There's something so intriguing about watching marine creatures swimming around. I remembered my first visit to Aquaria @ KLCC was when it first opened in 2005. Yeah that's like ages ago. Well I had the sudden urge to pop by again recently and had just as much fun as I did the first time I was there.

If you haven't been, seriously it's been 6 years. You need to get yourself there. Apart from the marine life, there's also the land dwelling creatures that make my hair stand on end, creepy crawlies *shivers at the mention of it*, venemous predators, butterflies and bunch of other exciting attractions. Plus, it's educational! I know that sounds so school-ish but there's still so much to learn about so many things. I'm the curious type. :)

Coatimundi

From South America and goes by 7 different names. Talk about being a rock star! Plus it's nose can rotate up to 60 degrees. It was feeding time for them too. So adorable!! They are really well fed. Look at the tail-less one perched on the branch.

The Tube Tank

The flooded rainforest perfectly captured! The illuminating light from the silver scales are awesome.

The Araipaima. It's huge!! The fact sheet says it grows up to 10 feet long!!

The Mangrove

The fishies swimming around in this pond was too fast to be captured on my camera. But what I did managed to get was the super friendly Spotted Rays. There were two of them and the more people they saw leaning over to see them, they attached themselves to the wall and started flapping! Looked like they could have jumped out anytime.

I'm not sure if it's saying hello or trying to escape.

I had loads of fun and I had to bring out "The Ears"! I'm definitely going again when they get they're next new attraction up and running some time early next year. ^^ Sorry about the blurry photos. Flash photography wasn't allowed for obvious reasons.

This must be the fastest planned wedding I've ever come across. After about 10 years, a friend of mine and her high school sweetheart finally tied the knot! Some relationships don't even make it past a few weeks what more years. This one I suppose was meant to be. *Awwww...*

The Bride

My friend chose her Muslim name a few weeks ago and when I heard what it was, I couldn't stop launghing. I was like wow, that's heavy name to carry but hey as long as she's lurving it. The ceremony went well despite the unbearable heat which I nearly fainted from and almost melted my make up. *being dramatic* I'm just completely drained now, just thought I'd share some photos from this afternoon.

Not that I'm much of a pink fan but that tray with the bag and camera was a tempting option to run away with!

The tea ceremony and dinner is next weekend and I have to frantically hunt for an outfit this week. Another excuse to shop! *grinss*

I received this in the mail a few weeks back and found it rather strange that there was no note attached to it. So I figured I'd review it, being the lip balm addict that I am. Lol!

I noticed Maybelline Lip Smooth Colour Bloom Lip Balm at Watsons a few months back but never got round to trying it. Currently overstocked with lip balms. *such a hoarder*

This latest lip balm by Maybelline claims to change colour to one that is uniquely yours. How does it work? Well, it has tone-revealing pigments, transforming it from the creamy white colour in the tube to a customised shade that suits your skintone perfectly. So what you get is this beautiful colour that looks sheer and natural, just like how you want your lip colour to be even without lipstick. I lurved how the colour turned out on me!! A hint of colour that brightens up my complexion. As for it's moisturising properties, it's quite alright.

Shade: Pink Blossom

There are a few things that I don't fancy about it though, it has a chemical-like taste that lingers on my lips. And if applied more than two layers it feels too waxy. For me, a light layer goes a long way. The fragrance is also a turn off, strong chemical-like. Errkk!

The Colour Bloom is enriched with pro Vitamin E known as a natural anti-oxidant and Jojoba Oil which are meant to continously nourish lips making them soft and smooth. It also has SPF 16 which offers some protection in our ridiculous hot weather.

Maybelline Lip Smooth Colour Bloom comes in two shades Pink Blossom and Peach Blossom. Retails at RM14.90 at all major retailers and pharmacies.
