The Body Shop One Billion Rising Flash Mob on International Women's Day
What a way to celebrate International Women's Day. It was an awesome turn out for The Body Shop One Billion Rising flash mob at Pavilion KL!

This was of course on a larger scale compared to the one The Body Shop Malaysia organised in stores on Valentines (read here). So instead of just raising awareness among staff and customers this time it managed to reach a larger audience. Apart from The Body Shop staff, customers and facebook fans, there were various NGOs, the DJs of capital.fm and a huge group of students from local colleges who were there to support the cause.
One Billion Rising Movement is a global dance movement to stop violence against women. Gender violence should not be tolerated, hence the flash mob was organised to empower women to speak up and stand up against gender violence. This is a global movement!
