Tis the "Alice" season. Just cannot help bumping into all things "Alice" and "Wonderland". It was supposed to be released in Malaysia on 11th March 2010 but it came out with the rest of the world on 5th March 2010. This huge set in Mid Valley Megamall was suppose to be in conjunction with the 11th March release date but it is not too late!

The centre court area was trasformed into this huge tea party in wonderland. It is an amazingly magical sight! Mushrooms and flowers - big and small littered the set. I'm guessing a lot of work went into creating and preparation of it.

It would not be complete without the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. The cakes and pastries look yummy. Yeah, fake ones..

There were also paraphernalias from the movies displayed in the showcases nearby. I am assuming they are replicas.

The area surrounding the concourse complemented the whimsical theme nicely. There were various booths set up - Coffee Bean, Nina Ricci, Lovely lace, had beautiful things to offer. Coffee Bean's booth caught my attention though. They had cupcakes specially made for the "Alice" event. Take a wild guess what icing they used.. Fondant! *winks* Oh and underneath the fondant is butter cupcake topped with chocolate ganache. They are selling these at 2 for RM10, and I just could not resist buying them.

Here is how the program looks like until Sunday. The Wonderland will be around from 10/3-20/3. According to the program there will be a walk about in the mall by the characters.

Almost forget, Mid Valley is having a promotion. If you spend RM300 (RM250 for HSBC credit cardholders) and above in a single receipt, you get to redeem an exclusive Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland' Tea Pot set.
