Bobbi Brown Surf and Sand Summer 2014 Collection - Review & Swatches
Bobbi Brown does pastels this Summer! Some beautiful shades in the Surf & Sand Summer 2014 Collection, inspired by Bobbi's favourite holiday destination. Kate Upton also replaces Katie Holmes as the face of Bobbi Brown starting with the Surf & Sand Collection ads. The Surf & Sand Collection consists of two eye shadow palettes, two blushes, four sheer lip colours, Long Wear eye liner, cream shadow and a beach roll on scent.

The focus is definitely on the eye palettes which combines eight shades each of mattes, metallics and sparkle shades. Surf Eye Palette is a pastel palette. I can't take my eyes the Surf and Sea Foam shades. Something different from the usual Bobbi shades. They are sparkle shades that looks great layered on another shade from the palette. Sand Eye Palette is something you would expect, still very beachy and great for you nude lovers. The lighter shades from these palettes are meant to be layered to get a more intense effect but their fine on their own if you're looking for a light wash of colour. Tip for you guys, an eye base makes the colour stand out better.
Both the Brightening Blush are beautiful. Each come with three shades that can be used together or separately as blush/highlighter. The Pink Brightening Blush gives you a rosy flush while the Bronze Brightening Blush makes you look like a bronze goddess. The bronze is amazingly intense and also be used as a contour shade.
The four Sheer Lipsticks compliments the eye palettes and blushes effortlessly. In shades of pinks and nudes, it gives you that perfect hint of colour on your lips. The shades are Sunlit Pink, Summer Nude, Peach Sorbet and Pink Taffy.
