The Body Shop Spa Of The World Range
The Body Shop teamed up with Uber about two weekends ago to give their fans an awesome spa-on-the-go experience in conjunction with their latest launch, Spa Of The World range. I wish all my uber ride would include luxurious pamper products and a masseuse. The arm and neck massage was just what I needed on my birthday weekend. I'm still celebrating that birthday by the way with some of the new spa products from The Body Shop. September hasn't ended yet!
With the new Spa Of The World range, The Body Shop wanted to create a luxury pamper range especially for their fans that have been with them through out the years but are now all grown up and are looking for something different, something with a more luxe feel that they could spoil themselves with. Not that The Body Shop products aren't still firm favourites but that of an entirely unique experience coming from a brand that they started off with in their teens. Everything about the new Spa Of The World range screams lavishness, from the finest natural ingredients, refined textures and delicate fragrances, sensorial and luxury oils, natural scrubs and decadent creams. The new range features a bronze-amber packaging to complete that ultimate luxury look.
You are encouraged to turn your bathroom in a 'spathroom' by choosing from three different rituals - Relaxing, Revitalising and/or Blissful. The Relaxing Ritual is a perfect way to de-stress, unwind and reconnect with body and mind. Relax by opting the African Xeminia Scrub which softens the skin and leaves it gleamingly smooth; Egyptian Milk and Honey Bath a renowned beauty ritual used by Cleopatra in ancient Egypt; French Lavender Massage Oil to soothe body and mind; or Japanese Camellia Cream which leaves the skin silky soft. The Revitalising Ritual is to stimulate and rejuvenate a tired body and mind. The Dead Sea Salt Scrub is an enlivening scrub that leaves the skin beautifully exfoliated, while the Thai Lemongrass Massage Oil revitalises and stimulates the senses. The Blissful Ritual is for true indulgence that puts you in a state of serenity and positivity. Choose from Polynesian Monoi Radiance Oil which gives glow to skin and lustre to hair; and/or Hawaiian Kukui Cream which restores skin suppleness and leaves it nourished and glowing. You can mix and match depending on your mood but my personal favourites are the products from the Blissful Rituals range, the fragrance is sheer enchantment that puts me in a different state of mind.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing some of the new products thanks to The Body Shop Malaysia and I have been enjoying using them over the past two weeks. Call it a Birthday Spa Time. The African Ximenia Scrub is very similar to the Spa Wisdom African Ximenia & Salt Scrub which has been a firm staple in my bathroom over the past few years. The main ingredient is the same but with a slightly different moisturising base. The texture is smooth and creamy and gives my skin a very gentle exfoliation while hydrating it. The Japanese Camellia Cream smells gorgeous, or I could just be bias because I love Camellia scents. The texture is rich, velvety and nourishes the skin so well. It sinks into the skin without leaving behind any tackiness and the nourished feeling lasts throughout the night and the entire day. The fragrance lingers softly on the skin without being intrusive at all. The Thai Lemongrass Massage Oil is one that is essential when it comes to a Thai massage. I have only used this a few times, the scent is just relaxing. The oil massages into the skin effortlessly without feeling sticky at all. My skin has been feeling soft and looking all kinds of amazing. September has definitely been a wonderful spathroom pamper experience!
The Body Shop Spa Of The World range is splurge worthy. I'm pretty sure you guys will love them as much as I do. The African Ximenia Scrub is priced at RM145 (385g), Japanese Camellia Cream is priced at RM230 (343g) and Thai Lemongrass Massage Oil RM99 (170ml). The Spa Of The World range is now available at all The Body Shop stores as well as on www.thebodyshop.com.my.
