Pantene Pro-V - 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner Review

By 02:39 , ,

It has been ages since I tried a new drugstore hair care product, only because I already have my drugstore go tos. So receiving this latest one from Pantene is a welcome change. The Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner is part of the Total Damage Care range. The new formula is targeted to smoothen 3 months of damage in 3 minutes, repairs hair damage deep within the core and reduces protein loss to prevent further damage.

Unlike your normal conditioner, Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle has a thicker texture. The scent is a fruity-floral one that I don't really fancy because it's a tad on the strong side. I actually timed the leave in to an exact 3 minutes before washing it off. Upon washing my hair I noticed that it didn't thoroughly detangle my hair, neither did it feel properly nourished.

I had to put in extra effort when blow drying or when I ran through with an iron to smooth out the ends. The result? My hair turned out a lot straighter with looser curls. It also did a decent job with controlling frizz but it did come back though when the weather got too humid. I didn't really notice whether it was any softer as my hair was already feeling soft with my previous routine. Although I live for wild hair with tighter curls, this would be something I would be reach for if I wanted a more tame look.

I have been using the Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle for six washes and apart from the straighter and looser results I haven't really notice a significant difference where revitalising damaged hair surface is concerned. But I have to say though for the price, this is a pretty good product especially if you are looking for a richer conditioner and do not mask you hair enough.

Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle retails at RM14.90 (180ml) and is available at all leading pharmacies and supermarkets.
