MIFW '11 Day 2: Bumiputera Designers Association (BDA)

By 14:41 , , ,

BDA shows are ones I look forward to every year. As always this year was brilliant! I attended the BDA Hi-Tea Shows and the GALA and it was amazing. The Hi-Tea Show was of course a tad more subdued and less extravagant but great all the same.

The GALA however was fantastic. The one designer I was waiting for did not disappointment. I'll say it now and I'll say it again, Amir Luqman is just super fabulous! Collections from other designers were awesome to say the least. Since I don't have much time to do full posts yet on the collections, I have selected some stand out pieces from both shows.

Before that, here's what I wore.. I've been wanting to wear these palazzos for a while not but never got around to it. It was just perfect for yesterday, flowy, cooling yet chic and oh so comfey for waiting around in between shows.

  2. perhaps it would've been more interesting on a golf course.. but it's at a new half completed venue called zebra kl on jln kg pandan.. pavilion would've been so much better though! introducing local fashion to the world where more people can watch!
