Christmas Giveaway: Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme
I wasn't sure I had time to do a Christmas Giveaway, well actually I didn't but you guys are in luck because Christmas in going to get even more exciting. I have 3 (three) bottles of Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme for you guys in this flash giveaway courtesy of P&G Prestige. Before I get into details, here's a Holiday Season Q&A with Amy Adams the face of Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme.
Q: Do you have different fragrances for summer
and winter?
AA: I tend to use fragrances year-round. I like that EAU DE LACOSTE has
a lot of different sides to it. I like the idea of wearing it on a day-to-day
basis because I feel that it takes me from my daughter’s gymnastics class in
the morning to a business meeting at night and I feel that it can transition
seamlessly.
Q: On which occasions do you wear a fragrance?
AA: I pretty much wear fragrance every day. I like to keep a roller in
my bag. I tend to just hit the ground running during the day and I have a lot
of different places to be, so I always like to keep a fragrance - it just makes
me feel a little fresh. And that’s why I like a clean fragrance like EAU DE
LACOSTE.
Q: How do you celebrate New Year’s Eve?
AA: It’s different from year to year. One year I went with a group of
friends to karaoke, and that was a lot of fun. But for the most part, I like to
keep it low-key. Not big parties. Just celebrating with people who I love.
Q: How has the way you have celebrated New Year’s
Eve changed since you have had a family?
AA: There’s no sleeping in, so I have to make sure that we celebrate New
Year’s and then get on home.
Q: What does winter make you think of?
AA: Very strangely it makes me think of waking up early for school.
When it’s freezing cold.
Q: Are there any scents or smells that you
associate with winter?
AA: There’s a specific smell that the snow has that’s very hard to
describe if you don’t know what I’m talking about… it’s almost as if it’s
ionised.
Q: LA doesn’t really have seasons as it’s 20ºC
for most of the year. Does this mean you love the summer or would you prefer to
live somewhere with defined seasons? Is there a specific country you would like
to live in instead?
AA: I find LA to be quite temperate. We do have a hot season, but it
really isn’t summer… The extremes in temperatures don’t cooperate with me very
well.
Q: What is your favourite season and why?
AA: It’s hard to pick just one, but I would have to say spring and
fall. Those two I like. I like the transition seasons.
Q: Do you prefer a typical summer or winter
holiday?
AA: Summer.

(My answer: ... mince pies with brandy butter, hot chocolate with marshmallows, gingerbread cookies and Olaf the talking snowman!)

Winter makes me think of the comfort of sitting in a cozy room, with a plush armchair and a burning fireplace. Sometimes I'll glance through the window, seeing snow falling from the sky and wondering if I can see Olaf peeking at the window. Sipping a big mug of hot chocolate, I'll be writing a blog post on what I'll be cooking for Christmas dinner with my beloveds, what pressies I think ideal for them, maybe I'll snuck in a bottle of Eau de Lacoste Pour Femme for my mom, sisters and girl friends, while my cat will be purring at my feet, reminding me to not forget his treats as well ;)

Winter makes me think of white fluffy snow, snuggle in a warm and cozy sweaters / onesie, with hot chocolate and little marshmallow on top. Apart from all that, winter also makes me think about all those crazy sale that is going on! And to top all that, winter makes me think about London, all the time. Covered in snow.

Winter makes me think of snowy places, lined with bright fanciful lights on christmas trees and cute snowman, people drinking warm apple cider, family gather around the fireplace. Winter makes me think of Magic!
ReplyDeleteI know it sounded silly but everything magical almost always happen to me during Winter season (although Malaysia is warm all year but hey who cares right? As long you have the spirit!)
Winter has always been an ideal for me. When I think of Winter, I'll think about birthdays of my loved ones, butterbeer(non alcoholic one for me of course!) and Harry Potter books,princesses and Disney animations,my favourite romance movies (eg: A Princess for Christmas),masquerade party and dance balls (which is my idea of the ultimate romance). And most importantly, Winter is my dream. One day, I want to experience my own Winter time, walking down the streets with a cup of hot chocolate in my hand and seeing little kids making snowman.
In overall, Winter represents the little naive-ness left in this almost 23 years old body of mine :)
