L'Occitane Almond Velvet Serum Review
If you're diligent with body care then a body serum will most likely be a welcome addition especially if it smells this amazing. I'm talking about L'Occitane's first ever body serum, the Almond Velvet Serum meant not only for added hydration but also to help reverse signs of ageing due to sun damage.
This concentrated formula combines skin-brightening ingredients like vitamin c (2%) with Sweet Almond Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Rose Centafolia Extract to reduce the appearance of sun-induced dark spots and to even out skin tone. Almond proteins from the almond fruit for lifting and toning. Almond buds united with rose buds for skin refinement and almond leaf cells, which can promote synthesis of Collagen and Elastin.
Housed in a luxurious light shimmery pink bottle, the body serum stays true to the delicate sweet almond blossom scent, which is the signature scent for the almond range. It smells fantastic! Definitely my favourite range from L'Occitane. Despite the amazingly lightweight texture, it really nourishes the skin. Although I can't say I have any firmness or fine lines concerns at the moment, my skin has been feeling super soft and well hydrated since I have been using the body serum.
This is actually meant to be layered under a body lotion or cream to give the skin added moisture, like the recently introduced L'Occitane Almond Velvet Balm. But I have been layering it under my usual body lotion and it hasn't been sticky at all be it in air-conditioned spaces or even outdoors.
