Lancôme Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%] - Advanced Skin Corrector
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, her sister Pippa and Emma Watson, Lancôme's Brand Ambassador were the first to be sent the Advanced Skin Corrector! And from what I've heard there's a waiting list for it in the UK!
The Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%] has been dubbed "the future of beauty" which is a result of 12 years of research protected by 17 patents. It contains a unique plant extract beauty molecule that has the ability to repair itself. It took 2412 attempts in Lancôme's research labs to finally come up with this single multi-functional molecule that makes up Visionnaire. Talk about determination.

Visionnaire Range
So here's what it's suppose to do, it penetrates into the deepest layer of the skin to trigger the healing process, correcting skin's imperfections. In other words it repairs, regenerates and strengthen skin tissue. It mainly works on tightening pores, evens out skin tones, reduces the appearance of fine lines and scars or marks, and hydrates for intense radiance to provide smoother, plumper and more radiant skin in just 4 to 6 weeks.
I was told that its main focus is on tackling pores and evening out the skin tone, not so much lines and wrinkles. And when it says scars or marks, I'm assuming it's those superficial discoloured/dark ones coz I don't see how it'll help indented or crater-like scars.

When it comes to trials and test done with Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector, the product was tested on various complexions - Hispanic, Caucasian, Asian and Afro-American. Results differ with different ethnic group but Asian skin showed great results especially inchanges in appearance of skin pores, scars and marks.
There was a separate study done where cosmetic procedure is concerned, 68 women aged 35-49 years. A lot of studies going on, I know. Apparently after 4 weeks with the Advance Skin Corrector, 2 out 3 of them decide to postpone their cosmetic procedure such as botox, hyaluronic acid injection, peeling or laser treatment.
Apart from Lancôme Visonnaire [LR 2412 4%] Advanced Skin Corrector the range also includes the Cosmetic Water and Milky Lotion. I got a chance to try out the range with help from Joselyn Lee, Lancôme Malaysia Training Manager. The whole range has Lancôme's fresh signature rose scent with precious flowers to create an original scent. No ifs and buts about it, I lurv the scent! It's so relaxing.
There is a specific massage technique that you are required to do to activate the ingredients. It is a 'Pinch Pull' Massage with an upward directionality that will not only ensure the products achieve the desired effect but will also stimulate blood flow. You feel your skin a tad warm after the self massage. Of course it feels much more relaxing when someone else does it for you. *winks*
Step 1: Pre-Correcting Advanced Lotion
To remove impurities and prepare the skin for the serum.
Step 2 : Advanced Skin Corrector
It has a light gel like texture which easily absorbs into my skin.
Apply 5 dots on the face - cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. Then smooth it out outwards.
Step 3 : Pre-Correcting Advanced Emulsion
With a light texture, this suits all skin type but if you are targetting a specific concern, you can use a moisturiser from any other range for example one that is for combination skin.

Upon application of all three products, my skin felt supple and hydrated. I can't really say as to whether my pores seem smaller since that's the one time I tried it. So you guys have to try it out and see if it works for you. :)
